The front desk agent contributes to all aspects of customer service; registering guests, processing room, dining and spa reservations, invoicing and all other necessary transactions, answering the phone, emails, etc.
The main purpose of the night receptionist is to welcome late arrivals for our hotel rooms and ensure the safety of the establishment.
Job Description
- Complete reservations received by phone, email or on site
- Process client arrivals and departures. Accept or cancel reservations
- Greet clients upon arrival, explain the services offered and indicate their locations
- Ensure that clients comply with regulations during the night
- Answer various questions from clients regarding the establishment's services, tourist attractions and various activities in the region in order to direct them
- Answer the reception phone, handle and forward calls
- Manage the cash fund, make change and perform charge transactions, and balance the cash when the shift is over
- Handle various client requests and complaints and follow up on them
- Ensure that the workplace is clean at all times for a positive hotel image
- Take note of defects reported by clients and employees and report them to the responsible person
- Perform other administrative tasks to contribute to the profitable operation of the business (gift certificates, etc.)
